Toyota & Lexus: electric cars with a bonus of 4,500 euros

Toyota starts 2024 with its parent brand and its subsidiary Lexus with an extended “environmental bonus”. All customers who purchase and register a new electronic model from the Japanese carrier by March 31, 2024 will receive a bonus of 4,500 euros.

In total, the range of electric vehicles from Toyota and Lexus currently includes seven models, including two commercial vehicles. At Toyota it is SUV bz4X and Proace City and Proace cars, both are also available as commercial vehicles. Lexus has the SUV UX and RZ in its lineup.

“We offer our customers planning and reliability when buying a fully electric car. This joint campaign with our retail network also shows that for us the electric supply is an important tool for building a CO2-neutral mobility path,” says Mario Köhler , Head of Sales for Toyota Germany.

From the end of 2023, applications for the environmental bonus for the purchase of an electric vehicle can no longer be submitted. The funding, jointly funded by the federal government and participating manufacturers, ended early. In 2024, the amount should drop to 4,500 euros and be paid for cars with a full list price of up to 45,000 euros. For its campaign, Toyota is offering customers an alternative subsidy of the same amount until the end of March.
