This extremely rare Ferrari is being auctioned and will cost at least 2.5 million euros


It is a descendant of Ferrari’s first car to win the Formula 1 World Championship, the famous 500 F2, which enabled Alberto Ascari to win the 1952 and 1953 World Championships. in the world for the best cars, which will take place in Monaco on May 11 and 12, 2024.

This car was the first Ferrari to be driven by the Belgian national team at Francorchamps and was also the only one-seater Ferrari ever driven by the Marquis Alfonso de Portago (a wealthy sportsman who sadly died during the 1957 Mille Miglia and which could appear in the film Ferrari and Michel Mann, released last December).

Stored for more than 15 years in the very prestigious Bardinon collection, this Ferrari, beyond its impressive curves, carries within it a piece of history. In April 2022, the car was inspected by Ferrari Classiche, and carries the correct chassis and engine numbers, which is rare for an old and very rare car.
