The new Bugatti V16, the CEO raises the bar with a new look

With a post on his Instagram profile (which we leave you at the bottom of the article), Mate Rimac, CEO of Bugatti, recently revealed another view of the future hypercar that will replace the Chiron. For now, we know that this new Bugatti Hypercar will feature a v16 hybrid engine.

This new gem was first seen in Miami and was also seen in Los Angeles, capturing the attention of buyers with its silhouette shrouded in mystery. The video released by Rimac gives a glimpse of Bugatti’s next marvel, allowing a glimpse of the lines that follow the tradition of the brand, and references to the Veyron and Chiron models. Bugatti’s signature “C” is seen running along the side of the car, while new headlights promise to transform the design.

Rumors speak of the beauty of courage, and a more to put the front grille and a rear that recalls the McLaren P1, perhaps a tribute to the legend of La Voiture Noire. The cockpit has been compared to the precision of a Swiss watch for its consistency and precision even in the smallest details.

The true essence of this hypercar is, as mentioned at the beginning, in its beating heart: a 8.3 liter V16 hybrid engine capable of producing an astonishing 1800 horsepower. The technological image is completed by two electric motors mounted on the front axle and a third small motor strategically placed to improve the performance of this new road beast.

L’successor of Chiron it will represent the next chapter in Bugatti’s history after the Veyron and, of course, the Chiron. Despite the rumours, Mate Rimac promised innovative features and a radical move towards hybrid electrification, while Achim Anscheidt, Bugatti’s former head of design, announced that it would be more dramatic than the recent Bugatti Mistral. The design has been in development since 2021, with a completely new chassis and delivery will begin in 2026.
