Vaihingen an der Enz – A traffic accident on Sunday morning caused chaos on Graf-Hartmann-Strasse. At 10:36 am, a 21-year-old driver lost control of his Opel Zafira and collided with several parked cars.

According to the police, the young woman was exiting the roundabout towards Silcherstrasse. Perhaps due to the influence of alcohol, he went too far to the right and first touched the windshield of a parked Renault Twingo. But that’s not all: He then collided with a parked Tesla, bounced off it and ended up landing on the roof of his car.

Fortunately, the driver suffered only minor injuries in the collision. Emergency services were immediately notified and took him to a nearby hospital, where he received treatment. Nothing more is known about the true state of health of the young woman.

According to the police, the property damage caused amounts to around 70,000 euros. The damaged cars had to be towed to allow traffic on Graf-Hartmann-Strasse to flow freely again.

The driver’s license was temporarily suspended on suspicion of being drunk. The police launched an investigation to clarify the exact circumstances of the accident. Witnesses who saw the incident or who can provide more information are asked to contact the Vaihingen police station at 07042/941-0 or by email at vaihingen-enz.prev@polizei.bwl.de.
