The Dacia Sandero remains the most popular new car in Europe. The data from the first three months of 2024 leave no doubt. Customers appreciate the factory LPG installation and the excellent price-performance ratio this vehicle offers. Peugeot 208 and Citroën C3 are at the top.
Dataforce has published its latest report, which covers all vehicle registrations in the European Union as well as Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Switzerland and the United Kingdom. We can find information there that in the first three months of this year, 70,567 units of the new Dacia Sandero have already been registered.

Not only that Dacia takes the first place, but Sandero got about 20 percent more buyers than in the same period last year. This is an excellent result that pleases the manufacturer. The Sandero has the best price-performance ratio in the B segment and also offers factory LPG installation.

In second place is Volkswagen Golf with about 63,500 registered units, and in third place is Tesla Model Y with about 59,000 registrations.

Peugeot 208 and Citroën C3 top in the classification
The fourth place in the position is held by the Peugeot 208 with sales of 58,000 units – a pleasant surprise – is the Citroën C3, which has 53,000 registrations and an increase of 36%. This is the result of an aggressive sales campaign carried out by the manufacturer – the brand wants to return to its rightful place at all costs.
