In the most prestigious architectural competition in Poland (the only architectural competition under the patronage of the President of the Republic of Poland), this building won the top prize – it was recognized as the best house built in Poland in 2013-2014.

Project creators of “Dom w Lubliniec 2” are several architects, Marta Dyrda and Radek Fikus from Dyrda Fikus Architekci studio.

In the kaleidoscope of regional urban architecture, it is sometimes difficult to find the characteristic features that determine the nature of a place. the boundaries of the plot, thereby locking more garden space from the small plot. It was this decision that made the house. the interior, in stark contrast to the exterior, black body, is illuminated by a roof skylight, from which a lot of light leaks into the interior, reflecting the snow-white walls and floor, to give an effect. the difference emphasized by the detailed and thoughtful description allows us to think that the most important thing for the authors of the project is not to exaggerate in adjectives and not to put the word “one by one”.
