XP Investimentos becomes the official global financial services partner of Aston Martin in Formula 1


XP Investimentos announced, this Tuesday (8), a partnership with the British company Aston Martin Aramco Cognizant for Formula 1 (AMF1). XP will be the team’s official global financial services partner and will look to pave the way for the development of new motorsport talent.

The announcement comes on the eve of the 2022 Brazilian Grand Prix, which will take place in São Paulo, XP’s international headquarters, between November 11 and 13. In the 2023 season, the team will have the Spaniard, two-time world champion, Fernando Alonso; and Lance Stroll of Canada, as its pilots. Alonso will take over from four-time world champion Sebastian Vettel, who is expected to retire at the end of this season at the age of 35.

Starting at the Brazilian GP, ​​the XP brand will appear on the chassis and rear wing of the AMR22, the name of the car for the 2022 season. Next year, the brand will also appear on the team kit and on the overalls of all racing drivers.

For XP, the partnership will increase its exposure abroad, as well as strengthen relationships with institutional and retail customers. “We are delighted to partner with Aston Martin Aramco Cognizant. With the partnership, XP wants to invest in Brazilian talent opportunities in Formula 1.

Jefferson Slack, AMF1’s general director of business and marketing, says the company has already signed 22-year-old Felipe Drugovich as one of the pilots in development for 2023. “We have big plans for him,” he said.
