Put on your sunglasses, open the roof and let’s go! Driving without a roof is very interesting with this electric Maserati. The brand has always been known for… high-speed electric cars at high altitudes part of the car, but now it takes this step further. With the Maserati GranCabrio Folgore, a new generation of convertibles is coming to the market.

It is not the first time in the electric market for the Maserati automaker. They previously launched a fully electric SUV. This was already equipped with special equipment, this could only be a good precursor to the electric Folgore.

Maserati was founded as early as 1914. Since then, the Italian car brand has made a name for itself in the automotive world with powerful engines and sleek looking gearboxes. The brand intends to deliver a fully electric fleet by 2028. A good start is half, because the new electric announcement certainly reinforces these intentions. Three electric motors, with a combined power of 560 kW, are the perfect combination to achieve incredible speed figures.

Measurements

It’s still unclear how fast the car goes from 0 to 100. What we do know is that it can’t be much. The electric motors mentioned above together produce 1000 Nm of torque and 750 hp. And then the big problem with electric cars: range. This is not necessarily a problem with the new Maserati. A full battery is good for a range of 450 km. The car will be released in 2025, unfortunately we will have to wait a while. It is suspected that there is a sound system in the car. This is to compensate for the sound we are used to from Maserati. We are still waiting for the full price list and specifications, but we expect the price to be around €100,000!
