Young people in the company, 450 students to discover more professional skills request

Also this year Confindustria La Spezia participated in the orientation project “Boys in the company” now in its seventh edition, promoted by Confindustria Liguria and the Regional School Office and organized in the area thanks to the support of Cisita Formazione Superiore. With more than 450 students and 9 colleges involved in our state, this project once again represented an opportunity for meeting, growth and information between leading companies in our region and secondary school children, close to the decision-making process about the way of education. secondary.

In fact, it is a very important event that aims to make students and families aware of the importance of technical and scientific training at school, as the basis of the profession most in demand by companies today.
The objective corresponding to this method, therefore, is to accompany young people in choosing their future, to bring them closer to the sectors of the regional economy and to allow them to touch directly, through company visits, the best reality of our region, the belief that this can to stimulate in them a choice towards a profession that they would otherwise not have had the opportunity to know.

For that reason Confindustria “would like to express its sincere thanks to the institutions that have joined this project and to the companies that have welcomed the young people during the visit, showing once again the strong availability, participation and interest in the objective of the program”. The 2023 edition, which has just been completed, witnessed the participation of 18 important companies and SMEs in our region, for a total of twenty company visits divided between lower secondary school classes.
