Cupra Formentor goes off road. Looks good, but hard to find

Cupra Formentor is the best seller of this brand. Crossover based on Leon has become a favorite of many people. Perhaps this is helped by the fact that the 300-horsepower and 150-horsepower models differ only in their exhaust tips. This allows you to look expensive and powerful without spending a lot of money. This is a big plus.

The Formentor has a lot of potential, but feels out of place on the road. At least it was until now, because now an alternative has appeared. It’s called All Terrain and it’s a package that makes gravel and even light mud no longer a threat to this car.

I remember the times when the JE Design packages impressed with their appearance on the first and second generation Leon, as well as on the Ibiza. Tuning had blossomed at that time, and JE dominated in many interesting magazines specializing in this subject.

Now this company is considering slightly different projects. The Germans are still offering visual enhancements to the Viti and Cupra, and have also introduced mechanical modifications. In this case, both were combined, because the Formentor All Terrain offers not only a combat appearance, but also the best off-road ability.

For the needs of this car, 18-inch rims were fitted with Yokohama tires, which perform well from asphalt. Ground clearance was increased by 3 cm and the body was decorated with black plastic extensions.

They can be found not only on sills and fenders, but also on bumpers. The door handles were also painted black, which adds to the raw feel. It is safe to say that the styling of this car is so good that you would love to see it in this form in showrooms.

JE Design also added a new aileron above the rear window, a roof rack and LED lights mounted on it. Details that emphasize the individual character of this model are the purple Cupra emblems.
