Stellantis (FCA US, LLC) is recalling approximately 223 units of its 2024 Chrysler Pacifica and Voyager minivans. According to the latest recall, the windshield may not be properly attached to the vehicle, allowing it to detach during a crash. Therefore, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 212, “Windshield Mounting.”

  • From January 13, 2024, to February 28, 2024, the FCA USA TSRC analyzed the vehicle’s design history and determined that the affected vehicles may have been built with windshields that do not have a low bond to the vehicle body.
  • On February 28, 2024, the FCA US TSRC identified a manufacturing issue in some vehicles that could cause the windshield not to conform to the vehicle body, resulting in non-compliance with FMVSS No. 212.
  • On March 21, 2024, FCA US decided, through the Motor Vehicle Regulations Committee, to voluntarily restore the safety of the affected vehicles.
