Buick has unveiled the 2025 Enclave three-row SUV that has been updated with a new style based on the Wildcat concept and a new three-shield logo style, in line with a brand redesign that has now seen the entire lineup changed. Sharing its underpinnings with the GM C1XX-2 and the third-generation Chevrolet Traverse and GMC Acadia, both of which were relaunched for 2024, it’s no surprise the only engine available is a 2.5-liter turbo four-cylinder mated to an eight-speed automatic. gearbox and front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. Its rated output matches that of its GM counterparts at 328 horsepower and 326 torque, and in AWD form, it can tow up to 5,000 pounds.

Exterior Improvements: Great in Every Way

The Buick Wildcat concept has been the driving force behind the redesign of the entire Buick lineup, and the MY25 Enclave is the final piece of the puzzle. A three-row mid-size SUV, the Enclave is large, but its sharp nose and LED lighting elements give it the feel of a small crossover. Sharp, eye-like LED DRLs on the side of the hood and a new tri-shield logo, while the headlamps are positioned lower on the front fascia alongside the new grille. The full-width LED lights are a touch of class to emphasize the width of the new Enclave, one of several dimensions (height and length combined) that the SUV has increased over its predecessor.

Three pieces are available with a unique style assigned to each one. A set of 20-inch wheels are standard on Preferred and Sport Touring derivatives, with different designs and finishes for each diameter. The ST has a sportier look with unique ST badging and a gloss black finish to the grille, window surrounds, and mirror caps, as seen on the red car here. The top-of-the-line Avenir tops it off with 22-inch Avenir Pearl Nickle wheels and body-colored wheel arches, a sunroof, dynamic running lights, and an Avenir badge on the front doors.

Interiors: Three Row Tech-Fest

With large dimensions, the three-row SUV has grown inside, although Buick has not confirmed the exact interior dimensions of the newcomer. What it has highlighted is a modern design that now features floating center console storage bins, cup holders, a wireless device charger, and a multi-controller for the new infotainment system. Infotainment includes a 30-inch super-wide display, the largest in its class, with wireless connectivity for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, voice-controlled functionality for Google Assistant, and native software access to Spotify and a range of other apps .

Adjustable ambient lighting, active noise cancellation, and power-adjustable front seats are standard from the base level, as is a 12-speaker Bose audio system. Upper trims enjoy improved design highlights, such as special ST upholstery and trim and a flat-bottom steering wheel for the mid-level model. The Avenir features a 16-speaker Bose Performance Series sound system and a sunroof while adding ventilation and massage functions to the front seats and heated second-row outboard seats. This trim also includes the Power Pack as standard, optional on the lower trims, which include:

  • Header display

  • One touch folding second row seats

  • Power-folding third-row seats

Safety and Technology: Super Cruise Now Available on Buick

2025 Buick Enclave Avenir Super Cruiser
Buick

GM’s Super Cruise semi-autonomous driving performance has never been found in a Buick… until now. General Motors touts it as “the largest hands-free system in the U.S. and Canada,” with a targeted road network of about 750,000 miles expected by the end of 2025. Available on all three devices, this lets you communicate with yourself – free (while still looking at the road , this is a Level 2 system) on selected roads, making road trips difficult.

The system also includes Driver Attention Assistant and enhanced Automatic Park Assist to help navigate parking spaces by adding to the Enclave’s specs. Additionally, the Avenir includes a rearview camera mirror as part of its Super Cruise upgrade and boasts Continuous Damping Control, which can adjust damping at every corner of the vehicle at all times for the smoothest ride possible.
