Will this Fisker Ronin come before the Tesla Roadster?

It has been six years since the unveiling of the Tesla Roadster. Then we were blown away by the specs, especially the 0-100 time of 2.1 seconds. The Tesla Model S has now proven that those sprint times are entirely possible. Still interesting, but the hype is outdated. And Tesla can even be approached by this Fisker Ronin with more than 1,000 hp.

The Fisker Ronin should arrive as early as 2025. Currently, the Tesla Roadster is slated for 2024, but that could also be 2026. You never know with Tesla. In terms of specifications, the Fisker Ronin – which is actually named after the movie – is similar to the Roadster. It flies up to 100 km/h in 2 seconds and can travel 1,000 km on a single charge. The maximum speed is 275 km / h.

The Fisker Ronin is not cheap

It is not yet known how big the battery is and how much power the car will get. Fisker is not saying that they are making the 999 for the equivalent of 350,000 euros each. The Fisker Ronin is more practical than the Roadster because it has a rear seat where even three people can sit. The electrically operated gull-wing doors should make getting in the back easier.

The hardtop is made of carbon fiber and folds away. The wheels are also made of carbon fiber and the car itself is built on an airframe – just like Audi did with the A8 in 1999. Want one? Then you have to pay about 2,000 euros in advance. If you care: Tesla Roadster can reach 400 km / h. This Fisker does not achieve that.
