In the future, Holger Thiesen will focus on his duties as Vice President of the German branch of Mitsubishi Electric Europe BV.

To do justice to the Ecosystems division, which continues to grow rapidly, with its range of products including heating, air conditioning, ventilation and refrigeration technology, Mitsubishi Electric is restructuring its management team.

Holger Thiesen* Relinquished the role of operating the Living Environment Systems division at the start of the new fiscal year on April 1, 2024. He now focuses on his duties as Vice President of the German branch of Mitsubishi Electric Europe BV In this role, Thiesen will continue to support the Ecosystems Division’s management team as a strategic advisor.

The new division manager is effective from 1 April 2024 Thomas Schuhmann**. The Department Management Team will continue to monitor Dror Peled and Deputy Department Manager who also takes on the role as General Manager of Marketing and Exports. The new divisional management team will also be expanded by Gerd Hofer as Deputy Manager of the Department. Hofer also actively contributes his expertise to the company as General Manager of Direct Sales Marketing.

“2023 was the most successful year in the history of Biosystems,” said new Division Manager Schuhmann. “Although the heat pump market continues to be weaker than we expected, we predict the growth trajectory of our business as a whole, which will continue. Our products represent a sustainable technology that is used in various applications. However, we are facing various challenges in terms of market conditions. Together with new direction of management we can deal with these tasks better and more seriously. To do this, we have brought together all the strategic skills from operations, marketing and sales in a management team with relevant experience. This will further strengthen the position of the Living Environment Systems division in the market
