No, license plates of movie cars are often not real. Not so in the series of Flemish-Dutch hymns Secretly. Although, in the introduction to the Netflix hit, the movie Ferries series Ferries: series, the main character drives a Range Rover that turns out to have real license plates. Exactly that copy, with a serial number updated by Ferry Bouman himself, is on display and will go on sale at some point.

The Range Rover was picked up by HooG Selections car dealer in Katwijk aan Zee. This car dealer has dealt with famous cars in the past. For example, the Volkswagen Passat owned by Willem Holleeder was previously for sale. The Range Rover driven by Frank Lammers in the series and film is now on display at the dealership.

“I thought it was a lot of fun to buy a car and have it for our showroom,” the dealership owner tells TopGear Netherlands. He also confirms to us that Ferry Bouman’s Range Rover will be coming out again. ‘Eventually we will resell it or sell it to someone who visits the showroom and likes it.’ The dealer’s owner expects the price to be around 10,000 euros.

Feri’s RaRo is one of the third generation, which experts refer to as L322. This article is from 2002, but according to RDW it was registered in the Netherlands in 2003. Unfortunately, the front is not a 500 hp 5.0-liter V8, but a 2.9-liter BMW diesel engine with six cylinders that produces 177 hp. The initial price of the new Range Rover is unknown, but one had to pay 25,489 euros for the BPM. The wheelbase is 2.9 meters long and the whole thing weighs 2,460 kg empty.
