Hyundai i20 N/i30 N: End of production

Hyundai i20 N/i30 N: End of production

Hyundai also relies on electrification in the N segment: with the Hyundai i20 N and Hyundai i30 N, two compact sports cars with combustion engines follow the Kona N. Production will end in mid-2024.

The Hyundai i30 N has been following the Golf GTI since 2017 (also as a coupe since 2018), while the high-performance minicar i20 N was introduced only in 2021. In addition to the N model family, they have something else in common: production is scheduled to end in the first half of 2024. According to the EU registration ban, Hyundai no longer wants to sell combustion engines throughout Europe by 2035. For this reason, electric models began to be given the sports stamp for the first time with the Ioniq 5 N. And for right, given the key data of the founders: in addition to 478 kW (650 hp), zero to 100 in 3.5 s, top speed of 260 km / h. At least on paper, it’s better than the outgoing combustion engine, but it’s also more than twice as expensive as the i30 N. Also interesting: Tips for our products on Amazon
