Montreal Auto Show | Chevrolet

No one can blame Chevrolet for arriving in Montreal empty-handed. At its center, the bow brand is showing nine new products. Nothing less. And they all target very different audiences.

Performance enthusiasts will immediately gravitate toward the E-Ray, the first Corvette in history to feature a hybrid engine. This produces 655 hp and allows this Chevrolet to reach 100 km / h in less than three seconds. And to shoot itself quickly and efficiently towards the horizon, the E-Ray can rely on four-wheel drive. Yes, another one first.

In a specially designed area of its stand, Chevrolet invites off-road enthusiasts to discover the ZR2 Silverado (regular and HD) and Colorado Bison versions. These three cars show incredible cross-country ability. This is due to the many adjustments made to the shock absorbers, ground clearance and tire choice.

For families, the “popular” brand of General Motors invites you to view the third generation of Traverse. This utility vehicle, which can carry eight people on board, is undergoing a complete makeover this year. Among the highlights of this redesign are the presence of a supercharged 2.5L four-cylinder engine, new display screens to inform and entertain occupants and more storage space. Additionally, the new Traverse is loaded with active safety features.

Chevrolet Equinox EV

“Electric drivers” are not left out, as the Silverado EV, Blazer EV and Equinox EV will also be presented. These three electric vehicles are all based on the Ultium platform developed by General Motors. This modular design owes its flexibility in particular to the possibility of inserting the battery pack cells horizontally and vertically. This aims, among other things, to facilitate repairs or replacements.
