A great reminder in France and around the world

For decades, Land Rover, the famous British car manufacturer, has been at the center of many off-road adventures. However, the brand’s reputation for reliability has been tested many times. Long considered a “problem” in terms of reliability, the English brand has nevertheless done everything to improve its reputation. But the end is not yet complete, on the contrary. And for good reason, some models of the brand are currently in the news because of a serious problem, which forces the latter to organize a major recall campaign. But what exactly is it? Don’t worry, we will explain everything to you in our full article! L’Operation N810which is currently making headlines, involves two major brands: the Range Rover and the Range Rover Sport. The vehicles that are the subject of this campaign, approved under CE types e92018/8581122901 and e92018/8581122002, were produced between January 20, 2023 and May 30 of the same year.

Recall for defective LED lights

Land Rover’s French subsidiary has identified the serial numbers in question: from SALKA9B79PA048159 to SALKA9BU4PA072200 for the Range Rover, and from SAL1A2BU1PA119606 to SAL1A2BU7PA140296 for the Range Rover Sport. But what is the problem with these two cars? Finally, the front optics, equipped with LEDs, can simply refuse to turn on. However, it is important to note that this malfunction is not related to the parts themselves, but rather to the software. The British company quickly discovered the cause and developed a solution. Land Rover dealers are now responsible for installing a software update for the lighting control module. This operation, which should not require morequarter of an hour of immobilization, will resolve the issue and ensure that the headlights work properly. Of course, the operation is supported by Land Rover. In France, 1,081 owners of these vehicles are affected.

If you own one of these models, contact your nearest Land Rover dealer to schedule an update and get the most out of your SUV.
