Rimac Technology will supply batteries for future electric BMW models, the Croatian company announced this week. This applies to BMWs that will come to market from 2025.

Rimac calls the partnership a ‘milestone’ because it has never completed a project of such magnitude before. To supply batteries, the company is investing in a new production line at the Rimac Campus in the Croatian capital Zagreb. “A large part of the campus will be devoted to this project, which emphasizes the importance of the work.”

Mate Rimac, founder of the electric sports car manufacturer: “This new partnership shows that Rimac is not a player in the electric sports car market, but has become a major supplier of EV technology to the automotive industry. Now we are also ready to take on projects major leading automotive brands.

Rimac is represented in the Netherlands by Pon Luxury & Performance Cars.
