Scoop: The Kia EV3 is about to…

While still well established in Northern Sweden, our spies were surprised by a car that is obviously still well-disguised, but which is surprisingly similar to the Kia EV3 concept. This is not the first time this car has appeared in front of the lens of our detectives! Does this mean that the South Korean manufacturer’s electric range will soon welcome a new model?

Concept car appearance

Despite the big camouflage, we can already see the proportions, shapes and light signature similar to those of the concept of the same name presented at the end of last year. The production version of the Kia EV3 should therefore also feature the same styling as the EV9, but with more compact dimensions.

Many technical things are unknown…

Unfortunately, we don’t have the slightest clue about its technical sheet. It is assumed that, like other Kias in the EV range, this new electric SUV will be based on the 800 V architecture and will be offered with different combinations of motors and batteries. But considering the prices previously set by Kia for its future EV3, it is unlikely that the Korean manufacturer will use less powerful and cheaper technologies …

A starting price of around €30,000?

Yes, if we still don’t know anything about its battery or its power, however we already know that the base price of the Kia EV3 should be between €28,000 and €35,000! Enough to make it a strong competitor to BYD Atto 3, Jeep Avenger and other Volvo EX30! We hope to know more about it soon…
