SWISS Airlines uses EQV models for VIP transfers in Zurich

Mercedes-Benz Switzerland has now delivered seven fully electric Mercedes-Benz EQVs to Zurich Airport. The models are used for VIP transfers of the airline SWITZERLAND and its VIP Premium Service.

The handover of the all-electric Mercedes-Benz EQV vehicles from Mercedes-Benz Switzerland and Hirsch Ruckstuhl AG took place directly on the tarmac in front of the Swiss hangar at Zurich Airport. The fully electric EQVs from Mercedes-Benz shined in front of the Airbus A 330 – in good weather and from their best side.

With the new Mercedes-Benz EQV models, the transfer of premium customers from the Swiss First Lounge to the plane will not be productive in the future: «Fully electric and therefore very quiet travel means both comfort and exclusivity for SWISS Lounge guests.», says Bruno Schläfli from SWITZERLAND – and more: “Sustainability and quality service play a central role in Switzerland and Mercedes-Benz. It was therefore obvious to enter into this local partnership with Mercedes-Benz’s local partner Hirsch Ruckstuhl AG in Kloten.
