The 2025 GMC Yukon has been released

At least officially, GMC is not sold in the Philippines. Still, one can see its SUVs on local roads thanks to the influx of gray market units. We wouldn’t call it a common sight, but you wouldn’t be too surprised to see one in the posh parts of the Metro.

A few months ago, Chevrolet unveiled the refreshed Tahoe and Suburban for the 2025 model year. Now, it’s the turn of its posher siblings, the GMC Yukon and Yukon XLto get a mid-cycle update.

It is not yet a full manifestation. For now, all we have for now is a picture showing the corner of the front end. Still, it’s enough for us to say that there will be a big adjustment there. Most noticeable is the new lighting design, now with a more dynamic and complex look compared to the box lenses on the current model.

With that, we can expect some changes to the grill and front fascia of the 2025 GMC Yukon. It’s worth pointing out that the Yukon is available in many variants, all with individual looks. That means the entry fascia and intermediate models (SLE/SLT) will differ from directed off-road AT4 and more luxury Denali.

Interior updates and upgrades are also expected. It is likely that more technology will be installed as standard, including a new software for the infotainment system. Given that the Tahoe received major revisions inside, the Yukon may also come with a completely redesigned dashboard.

Engine options can be carried over from General Motors’ truck and SUV lineup. If so, the base engine starts with a 5.3-liter V8 that does 355hp and 520Nm. The optional engine for higher trim levels is a 6.2-liter V8 that put out 420hp and 624Nm. A turbodiesel an option can still be found for the 2025 model year, and that’s handling the 3.0-liter and 305hp and 671Nm.
