The electric Cadillac Escalade IQ 2024 was launched this year – 98.5 Montreal

• Cadillac Escalade IQ will be launched this year, the manufacturer has confirmed.

• This is the all-electric version of the luxury brand’s large three-row SUV.

• The model will be offered in standard configuration (IQ) and in extended configuration (IQL).

We will see an all-electric version of Cadillac’s largest SUV before the end of 2023. The company has confirmed that it will introduce the 2024 Cadillac Escalade IQ and Escalade IQL this year. It is the third all-electric model in the luxury brand’s range, after the Lyriq and Celestiq.

That’s all Cadillac is confirming for now, but the electric Escalade is expected to ride on the same Ultium platform as GM’s other electric vehicles. GMC’s Hummer also hints that the Escalade will be a very heavy vehicle, given the battery pack needed to move it around and give it good range.

It may not be the last electric car Cadillac offers in 2023. Cadillac vice president Rory Harvey said earlier this year that the company plans to launch three new electric models this year.
