Citroën is expanding its offer in South America and India. After the debut of the 7-seater C3 Aircross, it was the turn of the new family member. Based on the spy photos of the graphics from the Quatro portal, Rodas created a visual for the upcoming premiere. Is this what the new Citroën C3 X will look like?

The silhouette looks familiar because it is similar to the C4 Xa that we will see in Polish dealerships. How will the car intended for the Brazilian market differ from the European version? First, the measurements. The new model should be shorter than the European one. According to the first leak, the Citroën C3 X measures approximately 4.4 m. The length of the version intended for the Old Continent is 4.6 m.

Another factor is the name. Citroën retains the number three to symbolize its family association. The new C3 X will join the C3 and C3 Aircross. All three models are part of the C-Cubed range of vehicles developed to meet the needs of local markets.

We suspect that the interior components and on-board systems will be carried over from the C3 Aircross. If this is successful, Citroën will install a 10-inch touchscreen on the dashboard with a smart interface that will connect wirelessly to Apple Car Play and Android Auto. Behind the steering wheel will be a set of digital instruments.

The C3 Aircross is a more family-oriented model, after all, it can carry up to 7 people on board. Its sibling C3 X should have a more elegant character. The car will compete in the market, among others: Hyundai Verna and Skoda Slavia. The French model will be known for its original design, large trunk and practical storage spaces. The usual Citroen comfort is also important.

What’s under the hood? The offer includes a turbocharged 1.0 engine that produces 130 HP. The unit will be mated to a CVT transmission.

We will know more details soon. The new Citroen C3 X will enter service in 2024.
