Top Mercedes boss: pay scale of DAX bosses revealed


Mercedes boss Ola Källenius is the highest paid of the DAX board members. The 54-year-old earned 12.74 million euros including bonuses in 2023, as the “Reuters” news agency reported based on salary reports. For Källenius, this means a 79.69 percent increase compared to his 2022 salary (7.09 million euros).

Adidas boss Bjørn Gulden is only in fifth place with 9.18 million euros. However, after moving from sports goods manufacturer Puma, the Norwegian also received around 11,900 Adidas shares as a kind of signing bonus. Adidas paid 3.88 million euros including tax on shares. That makes a total of 13.06 million euros, which would put Adidas boss Gulden at the top.
