The new 100% electric Fiat car is available for long-term rental from 129 euros per month. A price that seems quite profitable for a model of this type, but is it true if you go into more detail? Is this a good or bad deal? Here is our opinion.

The electric star of the Fiat range is the 500e. The city car is fully dedicated to this energy, mainly because the customers of this type of product are satisfied with urban use. But for the family? Now they can find their happiness with the transalpine manufacturer because Fiat revived the 600 name in electric last year. This technical cousin of the Peugeot e-2008, the electric Jeep Avenger and the other DS 3 E-Tense has many advantages to highlight, but also some faults that we noted during our first test drive. Still, just an offer 129 euros per month for long term rental, the Fiat 600e seems like a good deal at this price. But in reality, is this the case?

What are the eligibility criteria for the Fiat 600e LLD offer?

This is a long term rental offer 37 months and 10,000 kilometers per year, or 30,000 kilometers in total.. Fiat shows on its website that an offer of 129 euros per month is presented for the first tax of 14,500 euros, which equals 6,000 euros once the eco-bonus of 4,000 euros, the eco-Fiat bonus of 3,000 euros (applicable if you are not eligible for the maximum bonus of 7,000 euros) and the conversion bonus of 1,500 euros are deducted. The Fiat 600e still benefits from the ecological bonus in France, because it is produced in a Polish factory in Tychy.

To benefit from the conversion bonus, you must remove the old diesel or petrol model. A vintage car must be a car or vehicle whose gross weight does not exceed 3,500 kg. The date of first registration must be before 2011 for diesel and before 2006 for petrol.

The vehicle must belong to the beneficiary for at least one year, while the reference tax income per share shown on your tax notice for the previous year must be less than or equal to 13,489 euros.

How much will a Fiat 600e LLD cost you?

Let’s move on to the math, and these are very simple. Over a three-year long-term lease, your electric Fiat 600 will cost you cost 10 644 Euro. This contribution also has a small weight for the residual value of the car, because paying 38.8% of its total price in three years is more than the original discount of the car during this period, which is more between 30 and 35% depending on the model. .

Note that LLD is only interesting if you want to change cars frequently. As part of LLD, maintenance and warranty are included throughout the financing period, even if, in terms of maintenance, electric cars require less compared to their thermal counterparts.
