2025 Buick Enclave: Hands-Free Classic Highway

2025 Buick Enclave: Hands-Free Classic Highway

In the extended world of General Motors, Buick is the best-dressed character. GM has revamped its midsize 3-row SUV lineup for 2024, repositioning the Chevrolet Traverse and GMC Acadia as boxer, off-road-minded 3-row SUVs.

The Buick Enclave shares a platform with those models. So it’s all new for 2025. And while it’s obviously been going to the gym, it covers the look in a well-tailored outfit.

The 2025 Buick Enclave is completely new from start to finish. However, it breaks away from the aggressive styling of GM’s other mid-size 3-series vehicles, opting to soften it all behind the sleek “wildcat” look of the new Buick lineup.

Buick has not released a price. The 2024 model starts at $45,925 (plus a $1,395 mandatory fee), but we expect the increase to come with the redesign.

Better Looks Than Other GM SUVs

It may be the boxiest Buick, but it softens the look with a few well-placed curves and the sharp-nosed look that’s now common across the Buick lineup. The grille may not be smaller than the large grille frame that is currently in fashion. But it looks small thanks to the smooth lines and the shape that decreases towards the top.

A 30-inch widescreen dominates the dash – a combination instrument panel for the driver and a central touchscreen set in a trapezoid turned right out of “The Jetsons.” If you’re reading about Buick, you’re probably old enough to get the reference.

The dash seems to be all smooth touch surfaces and smooth curves. A row of buttons at the bottom of the large screen means not every function is via a menu. The system supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

A 12-speaker Bose sound system is standard – 16 speakers in the top Avenir versions.

Even the base models get power heated seats. Avenir buyers also get seat cooling, a head-up display, and power folding seats in the second and third rows.

328 Horsepower, Adjustable Suspension Available

GM’s Super Cruise touchless steering system comes standard on every trim level.

Under the hood, you’ll find a 2.5-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine making 328 hp. Buick will offer both front- and all-wheel drive (FWD and AWD) variants. Every Enclave uses the same 8-speed transmission.

The Avenir comes with a transmission that continuously adjusts the damping to match the road conditions for a smooth ride.
