2025 Buick Enclave’s turn to deliver a new generation

Over the past few months, Chevrolet and GMC have revealed their next-generation mid-size 3-series SUVs. What was missing was a Buick. Which is done now, as the manufacturer has just submitted Buick Enclave 2025 the new generation. Like its cousins, the Enclave has been completely redesigned and offers a new engine and a new, more modern design.

The Buick Enclave was the last product of the brand that had not yet been updated. With this new generation, the American brand can now say that its complete range of vehicles has been renewed. Following on from other Buick vehicles, the Enclave adopts a design philosophy taken from the Wildcat EV concept. This results in a new, completely revised front, same and rear presentation. Unlike the previous generation which opted for more rounded lines, this new generation opts for sharper lines instead.

The 2025 Buick Enclave will be offered in 3 trims: Preferred, Sport Touring (ST) and Avenir. The first two will benefit from 20-inch wheels as standard, while the Avenir version will offer 22-inch wheels.

Like the exterior, the 2025 Buick Enclave gets a completely new design and interior design. The dashboard will have a large horizontal screen of 30 inches. The latter will include a section of digital instruments in front of the driver and will continue towards the center of the infotainment system. The manufacturer also notes that, in the reorganization of the passenger compartment, it has provided a central console of the floating type between the two front seats. The latter will house several storage spaces as well as a standard wireless charging tray.

Regarding the number of seats, the two photos published by the manufacturer show a configuration with 7 seats, ie 2 by 2 seats.e rows and 3 by 3 seatse column. Currently, we don’t know if it will be possible to have 8 seats, like the 2024 Chevrolet Traverse and 2024 GMC Acadia.

More security features on board

As with several other GM products with the arrival of a new generation, the 2025 Buick Enclave will have more standard safety features than the outgoing generation model. Among the additions mentioned in the manufacturer’s press release, we see blind spot steering assistance, automatic emergency braking at intersections, traffic sign recognition as well as lane keeping assistance and lane departure warning.

Additionally, the 2025 Buick Enclave will be the brand’s first vehicle to offer the driver assistance capabilities of GM’s Super Cruise system, according to the manufacturer.

New engine

The 2025 Buick Enclave will feature a new 2.5-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine under the hood. This engine will develop 328 horsepower and 326 pound-feet of torque; it will be mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox. All-wheel drive will be standard on all versions. Buick advertises a maximum towing capacity of 2,268 kg (5,000 lbs).

As of now, the price of the 2025 Buick Enclave has not yet been revealed. As usual, the latter will be announced closer to the car’s arrival date at Canadian dealerships.
