2025 GMC Yukon AT4 Showcases New Front End in Player

  • The 2025 GMC Yukon AT4 has debuted its redesigned look.
  • The three-row full-size SUV follows in the footsteps of its GM siblings, the 2025 Chevy Tahoe and Suburban, which debuted a facelift late last year.
  • According to GMC, the full reveal of the 2025 Yukon will happen later this year.

Full-size SUVs are the truck carriers we use to transport large numbers of people and acres of cargo when small cars won’t cut it. GMC is gearing up to update its contribution to the world of three-row SUVs, as we’re now seeing the redesigned 2025 Yukon AT4 for the first time ahead of its final 2024 debut.

The full-size SUV follows in the footsteps of its GM siblings, the 2025 Chevrolet Tahoe and Suburban, which was redesigned earlier this year with a fancier interior and a more powerful diesel engine. The GMC teaser doesn’t reveal the full front end of the new Yukon, but the main change appears to be the redesigned headlights. The Yukon’s grille and the rest of the front end also have new designs in conjunction with new lights.

According to GMC, the 2025 Yukon will be fully revealed later this year. We think GMC’s changes will mirror those of the bowtie brand’s SUVs. That means a slightly updated exterior and more focus on improving the cabin.

Chevrolet

2025 Chevrolet Suburban.

The models feature a new column-mounted gear selector, a new standard 17.7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, and a standard 11.0-inch digital gauge cluster. Under the hood, the 5.3- and 6.2-liter V-8s return, and the diesel inline-six has been completely revised. The redesigned Duramax 3.0-liter inline-six diesel pairs with a 10-speed automatic gearbox and produces 305 horsepower and 495 pound-feet of torque, up from 277 horsepower and 460 pound-feet in the old models.

Chevy claims the suspension has been updated for a more refined ride in its pairing, while the steering adjustment is also said to be revised. Both sound good to us, especially considering we were already fans of the surprisingly controlled ride in a full-size SUV. Specifics such as return trim levels and pricing will be revealed closer to the car’s launch.
