In collaboration with Plugsurfing, the Swedish manufacturer is launching its Polestar Charge service, which has more than 650,000 charging points in Europe.

Car manufacturer Polestar and charging network Plugsurfing are launching a new public charging service in Europe, called Polestar payments and have more than 650,000 reward points for electric vehicles.

An important payment network for Polestar customers

Polestar Charge will allow the brand’s customers to reach even greater European payment networks, including the Tesla Supercharger, Ionity, Recharge, Total, Fastned and Allego networks. Optionally, a monthly subscription of €13.99 allows Polestar Charge users to benefit from a 30% reduction rate. at regular prices, at more than 28,000 network charging stations.

Polestar is the first manufacturer in Europe to connect Tesla Supercharger Network in its Polestar charging program. The network has more than 14,000 Tesla Superchargers of up to 250 kW, distributed in more than 1,000 locations, but Polestar Charge will only include Tesla stations available to drivers of other brands’ electric vehicles.

Polestar Charge: the all-in-one solution for electric vehicles

In 2023, Polestar had already announced the adoption of Tesla’s NACS charging connector for its customers in North America, while in China, Polestar owners can now access the Tesla Supercharger network in more than 200 cities.
Since 2020, Polestar 2 owners in Europe already had access to a network of public charging stations in Network plug, with special discounts. The new Polestar Charge service will be offered to customers across a range of models, including the Polestar 3 and Polestar 4, two new high-performance electric SUVs that are expected to arrive in Europe for the first time.
The Polestar Charge service allows you to identify yourself, identify yourself and pay at public charging stations, and above all making life easier for its customers by reducing subscriptions, programs and different methods of identifying billing networks. Polestar Charge complements the Google Maps upgrade for electric vehicles, which allows scheduling charging stops along certain routes, while pre-setting the battery for faster charging.

Polestar Charge is available on European markets countries: Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Germany, Spain, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Finland, Sweden, Switzerland and United Kingdom.
