A hat-trick of podiums for Fourmaux in Croatia? / WRC

In the fourth round of the World Rally Championship in Croatia (April 18 – 21), Adrien Fourmaux can achieve a hat-trick of podiums, of course the Frenchman wants to be among the top three on the tarmac.

Third places at Rally Sweden and in the most recent outing at Safari Rally Kenya contributed to the driver in the Ford Puma Rally1 Hybrid taking third place after three rounds in the championship. He also wants to offer this stable performance on the routes around the Croatian capital Zagreb.

Fourmaux said: “Two meetings in two campaign meetings is a very good start to the season and now we have to continue. We had one platform on snow, one on gravel, so now we need one on asphalt.

Fourmaux continued: “In Kenya I really enjoyed the team. It was a great weekend, the team did a great job throughout, the car was reliable and we had no problems at all. The results were also for the team. Okay, we were smart, but it was really cool. When I came back to Puma this year I was thinking about the podium in the second half of the season, but we are already there.”

Fourmaux was quick to point out that his early season pace could pay off further next week. “We will have a good chance to start third in Croatia,” he added. “That’s positive.”
