Alfa Romeo which, together with the well-known Tonale and the large Stelvio, brings its third SUV model to customers: the Milano. Technically, the 4.17 meter long Alfa Romeo Milano is very similar to the Lancia Y.

Alfa Romoe Milano: From a tame 156 to a brutal 240 hp

In addition to the standard Alfa model, the Italo crossover is available in three drive versions. The basic version is powered by a 115 kW / 156 hp electric motor on the front axle, which offers a range of 410 km thanks to a 54 kWh battery pack.

As with other models on this Stellantis platform, there is a problem with the charging speed, which is only 100 kW. This means that it takes 30 minutes for the small battery pack to charge up to 80 percent. Its typical consumption: 15.0 kWh / 100 km. The charging cable of the Milano disappears under the front hood so that the luggage volume of 400 liters is not restricted.

The sports version of the Alfa Romeo Milano Veloce produces 177 kW / 240 hp, which is transmitted to the front axle. The top version rides on 20-inch wheels and has a sports suspension with a lowering of 25 mm, reinforced controls on the front and rear axles, a sports brake system with four-piston monobloc calipers and 38 cm brake discs on the rear axle. front, with Torsen mechanical limited slip differential.

136 hp petrol engine as the entry level variant

From the point of view of the southern European markets and especially the Italian home market, the Milano is also offered with a 1.2 liter three-cylinder combustion engine that produces 100 kW / 136 hp and is supported by a 48-volt electrical system that produces. A powerful 21 kW motor drives it. Its consumption is 5.2 liters per 100 kilometers. Inside, Alfa Romeo’s small SUV offers space for four or no more than five people.
