At the amfAR auction in Cannes 1.5 million euros for Aston Martin

The Aston Martin DB12 Lunch Edition special edition was auctioned for 1.5 million euros during the amfAR Gala in Cannes which took place on May 25 in Cap d’Antibes. Funds raised will go to support the work of amfAR, an AIDS prevention and research foundation. The DB12, auctioned by Eva Longoria and James Marden, was the undisputed star of the evening, surpassing all estimates and raising an incredible amount of money. The Launch Edition to be auctioned will be the first example of the world’s first Super Tourer to be delivered to customers.
The model is presented together with the Iridescent Emerald painting, which was unveiled precisely during the first world car event in Cannes to celebrate the brand’s 110th anniversary.

The lavish event at the hotel du Cap Eden Roc was attended by Grammy Award winner Queen Latifah, actresses Rebel Wilson and Fan Bingbing and models Sara Sampaio, Bianca Balti, Heidi Klum, Stella Maxwell and Alessandra Ambrosio and among the couple Matteo Berrettini – Melissa Satta. Until May 28, the model of Aston Martin DB12 will be in Italy, during the International Horse Show in Rome, which is its partner. (PRESS UP).
