BangShift.com Make It Kustom, HalfAss Kustoms Cab Over Ramp Truck Build! 1971 GMC Fire Truck Gets Custom Front Shock Mounts.

In this video from the Fire Truck turned Ramp Truck collaboration, where Make It Kustom and HalfAss Kustoms have teamed up to crash Karl’s Make It Kustom rig, you’ll see the front suspension getting some more love. Special aerial maneuvers and maneuvers have already been done, but they did not get shocking feeds then and now is the time to do so. Watch how Karl designs and installs two shocks on each front corner to make this thing run smoothly.

This project has been fun to watch, as Brent from Halfass Kustoms and Karl from Make It Kustom teamed up to turn Karl’s off-road truck project into an LS modified car with a cab and chassis equipped with avionics in just a few days. Their goal for this project was to get it up and running before Brent returned home to Manitoba. It’s a lot to do in just 4 days, but they did it! But a lot has happened since then!

That’s right, just 4 days to get the cab and tilt work up and running, fabricating and installing a brand new steering system, fitting and installing the engine and transmission, cooling system, engine wiring, cab wiring, chassis cutting back and installed a step stage and a full 4-link suspension system, and much more. No, it won’t be a completed ride at the end of the series, but it should be able to be moved in and out of the store under its own power so that Karl can make the big ramp happen.
