Bold: LEGO comes with a vintage Chevrolet Corvette C1

These days, LEGO sets are released faster than you can spell a word, but every now and then there is something that deserves more attention. The Chevrolet Corvette C1 is available starting today. The set is part of the LEGO Icons series and contains 1210 bricks.

1961 vintage model

The website says that the design is inspired by the vintage Corvette C1 model from 1961 and has been given a whole load of authentic details from the original. From a slim silhouette to a classic interior. Of course, the red Italian convertible also has a ducktail spoiler and features four taillights. The Corvette can be built as a convertible or with a roof.

The Corvette is equipped with a steering wheel and a tow stick and the doors, hood and tailgate can be opened. Once assembled, the car measures 32 inches long, 14 inches wide and 10 inches tall. It is designed for ages 18+ and can be purchased for €149.99 at Dutch and the Belgian LEGO webshop.

Other classics in LEGO form

The Corvette is the fifth classic car that LEGO has launched for adults. The block product previously also produced the Land Rover Classic Defender 90, Chevrolet Camara Z28 and Porsche 911. Of course, the Ford Mustang should not be missed. The latter is part of the Creators Expert series and is available for €169.99. The Porsche and Camara received the same sales price. Land Rover costs a little more. You pay €239.99 for this. The new addition, the Corvette, is the cheapest in the series.
