Alfa Romeo 4C returns as Abarth | automatically displayed

Abarth remakes the Alfa Romeo 4C. Based on the mid-engine sports car that was discontinued four years ago, the Italians are launching a special model of the Classiche 1300 OT. It is intended to commemorate the Fiat-Abarth 1300 OT from 1965 and at the same time to celebrate the brand’s 75th anniversary. Abarth implemented the plan two years ago with the Abarth Classiche 1000 SP.

Carbon body

The base 1300 OT is not new, but the guys used Alfa Romeo 4Cs with low mileage. The cars have been completely converted and rebuilt by Stellantis Heritage. The mod is reminiscent of the Nismo Z-Tune from 2003, a limited series based on the Nissan Skyline R34 GT-R. The body of the 1300 OT is made of carbon and is based on the original from 1965, including a small air intake behind the roof for the mid-engine. Unlike the 1000 SP from 2022, the 1300 OT is a coupe, but looks similar to it. The deli and Abarth logos are reminiscent of the ’65 1300 OT.

Nothing has been changed in the car. The 1300 OT is powered by a 1.7-liter four-cylinder turbo engine with 241 hp, coupled with a six-speed dual-clutch transmission. This means that the sports coupé accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds and reaches a top speed of 250 km/h.

The order is now possible

It is not known how many copies of the Abarth Classiche 1300 OT will be built. There were five copies of the Classiche 100 SP which were sold in record time. Order books for 1300 OT are now open.
