Another star of the Barbie movie is Chevrolet

In case you missed it, the Barbie movie was a hit. In addition to the funny hero, the film has several cars including the Chevrolet Blazer EV SS.

Impossible to miss Barbie’s beautiful 1956 Chevrolet Corvette C1. A candy pink design that transports the star to her beautiful world of Barbieland. A Corvette that’s committed to making a comeback as it’s powered by an electric powertrain, as indicated by the blue “EV” in the Chevrolet logo emblazoned on the side, as well as by the clearly visible charging port. But without spoiling the story, as soon as she arrives in the real world, Barbie takes her place in a fully electric crossover that has never been seen in Europe, the Blazer EV SS. In the highly successful trailer, we see Barbie dive into the SUV before settling comfortably into the back seat. Barbie then benefits from the WOW (Wide Open Watts) mode, which allows her to go from 0 to 100 km/h in less than four seconds to overtake two large SUVs… Chevrolet. The American brand has pulled out all the stops!

The Blazer EV SS is the top trim of the 2024 Chevrolet Blazer EV, making 557 horsepower and 648 Nm of torque thanks to its Ultium batteries mounted on the GM BEV3 platform.

This model has not yet been announced in Europe, but let’s be sure that it would easily find its place there, with or without Barbie as a passenger.
