Dacia wants to go to the motorsport

This Romanian-French brand is not closely related to motorsport. This is about to change soon, however. Sandrider (not to be confused with Sandero!) shown a few days ago is the car that will lead Dacia and the named members of the official team, The Dacia Sandriders, to victory in Dakar. And already in 2025. The company intends to participate not only in the Dakar Rally, but also in the World Cross Country Racing Championship (W2RC). What? what do we know about Dacia’s new sports weapon? This is an illustration based on the Manifesto conceptual model. It will be homologated in the Ultimate T1+ class. Its mission is to “work for cost-effective decarbonisation.” Will it be an electric car? Not this time. It will run on fuel produced by Aramco.
