Dacia Jogger Hybrid at Polish prices. Start from around PLN 110,000. zlotys

Dacia Jogger Hybrid 140, as this version is called, has hybrid technology also known from other models from the Renault group. The base is a 1.6 liter petrol engine with 94 HP and 148 Nm of torque. It is supported by two electric motors. The first produces 49 HP and 205 Nm, the second, replacing the starter and alternator – 20 HP. In total, the system produces 140 HP. The system can operate in 15 different combinations of individual engines. However, the car always starts in electric mode (it can accelerate to a maximum of 65-70 km / h on electricity). Regardless of whether we are dealing with a five- or seven-seater version, the hybrid Jogger accelerates to 100 km/h in 10 seconds. The top speed is 167 km/h. The average fuel consumption in the combined cycle is 4.7-4.8 liters per 100 km. It is worth adding here that this is the first and only version of this model with automatic transmission.

Dacia boasts that the hybrid version of the Jogger can get around the city in fully electric mode 80 percent of the time. while driving. Fuel consumption in the urban cycle should be 40 percent lower compared to the version with a combustion engine. A lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 1.2 kWh is responsible for energy storage. The car recharges energy when decelerating and stopping. When driving on the highway, for example, the battery can be charged by the combustion engine.

As I have already said, the Dacia Jogger hybrid is offered in five- and seven-seat versions. The manufacturer points out that the introduction of the hybrid system did not lead to a loss of space in the trunk. This is because the battery is under the floor, instead of the spare wheel, like the gas tank on the LPG installation version. As a result, the trunk capacity in the configuration of five people is 607 liters.

The Dacia Jogger hybrid is available in two equipment versions. In the first, Express yourselfwe can count, among others: on:

Dacia Jogger hybrid prices start at PLN 109,550. This is the cost of the five-seat Expression version. The top of Dacia’s hybrid offering is the seven-seat Extreme edition variant. Then the cost is PLN 118,550. Those prices could make the Jogger a very attractive entry in the hybrid car market.

It is worth adding that Dacia also introduced changes to other cars. All versions of Jogger, Sandero and Sandero Stepway have been updated. Cars for the 2024 model year come standard with:

• active emergency brake assist system with pedestrian and cyclist detection
• driver fatigue control system
• light and rain sensors

This is due to the need to meet EU GSR2 regulations. Therefore, the safety systems mentioned above can also be found in the hybrid Jogger. The Romanian manufacturer announces that the car can now be ordered, and the first units will appear in showrooms in the second half of May.
