DMSB: Against Racism – Honorable Mention / Round

The German Motorsport Federation has made itself clear and is also on the side of the Olympic Sports Confederation. Human rights and sports cooperation are ahead.

In its position, the DMSB clearly stands on the side of the German Olympic Sports Federation, which has clearly opposed right-wing extremism and a diverse and democratic society. Motorsport is usually a sports profession where people from different walks of life but also from different nations follow their passion together. Mutual respect and justice are the basic tools for building cooperation such as tolerance, diversity and mutual appreciation. Basic democratic understanding and respect for human rights are fundamental aspects of the work of all permanent and voluntary employees of DMSB. DMSB therefore strongly rejects any form of racism, discrimination and harassment.

For motorsport enthusiasts, not only has the sport competition with people from all over the world been offered for decades, racing teams at all levels of athletics have long been made up of international and therefore cultural workers. Origin, family history, physical condition, faith or gender identity play no role. Sports design is the focus of 2,000 motorsport clubs and 3,000 motorsport events.
