Just this week, BMW boss M Frank van Meel had the upcoming M Hommage model for the first time he joked. Twenty-four hours later we now have the first spy bullets of the car on duty. Based on the M-driven car version and license number, we can see that this is a car from the Meel attraction.

The new image provides a better view of the structural changes that have been made M4 CSL will distinguish. The new 3.0 CSL Hommage design features a unique front end with a small (!) Kidney grille, modified headlights, a new cap and a redesigned front bumper. Meaning: The new Hommage 3.0 CSL is almost an M4 with specially designed body parts.

First later this year

From the back, the new M does not look completely different from the M4 CSL, but a closer look reveals major changes alongside the new fender. The rear bumper gets a new style with a unique distributor similar to that of the M4 CSL. Exhaust pipes four times protrude from the back. The image also provides a better view of the back wing and roof trimmer.

The new M car will appear for the first time later this year, but BMW has not said when. We probably won’t get any information about the powertrain until then either. However, the rumors mill suggests that the coupe will launch with a output of 600 hp (447 kilowatts) and 700 meters of Newton, which is more than 550 hp (405 kW) produced by M4 CSL.

BMW electronically sets the top speed of the M4 CSL up to 307 km / h and rumors indicate that the new M will not exceed the 320 km / h mark. The Hommage-M4 is said to be capable of reaching speeds of 100 km / h in 3.5 seconds and relies on the rear wheel drive.

When the new M goes on sale, it will be reported to cost 600,000 euros. BMW also plans to set a production limit of only 50 models, which is appropriate when the company celebrates 50 years of its new M. Hommage 3.0 CSL unit to be launched before the end of the year. Hopefully we don’t have to wait too long.
