Münster (ots) – The jackpot is not broken: With the draw on Friday, November 4, the Eurojackpot had reached a maximum of 120 million euros in the first tier. Since no one correctly predicted the winning numbers 7-9-40-48-49 or the Euro 7 and 8 numbers in this draw, this huge jackpot will remain until Tuesday, November 8! This is the 17th draw in the longest Eurojackpot jackpot round to date.
There were still winners on Friday: Five players managed to guess five winning numbers including one euro number correctly: 4,865,344 euros each were transferred to North Rhine-Westphalia, Hesse, Rhineland-Palatinate, Schleswig-Holstein and Poland. Eight other lucky winners from Baden-Württemberg, Berlin, Lower Saxony, North Rhine-Westphalia, Sweden (2), Finland and Slovakia were correct with five winning numbers – each of these predictions is worth 296,265.40 euros.
Since the jackpot is limited to 120 million and cannot be multiplied, the additional bet of the 1st prize category moves to the 2nd prize category. There, the second jackpot of about 16 million euros will be created for the draw on Tuesday, November 8. The probability of a hit in the second row is 1 in 7 million. For comparison: hitting the jackpot in the first class has a probability of 1 in 140 million.
On July 22, a player from Denmark had already won 120 million euros. Shortly before, in May, more than 110 million euros went to North Rhine-Westphalia – that’s a German lottery record! The jackpot was last hit on September 9: A player from Spain enjoyed almost 20 million euros.
Anyone who would like to get their chance to win 120 million euros next Tuesday (November 8) (1 chance: 140 million) can submit their bet on Tuesday evening by 7 pm at the latest at lottery acceptance points or at www.eurojackpot. de (according to the Acceptance deadline may vary by federal government).
