Fisker Ocean once $24,000 cheaper in the US

Fisker is slashing prices for 2023 Marine models in the US. The Ocean Extreme Edition is immediately $24,000 cheaper, a price reduction of nearly 40 percent. The model’s suggested retail price is now $37,499. Fisker reports this in a press release.

The Ocean ultra trim is priced at $34,999, an $18,000 discount. The Ocean Sport will have a new price of $24,999. The model was originally priced at $38,999.

The new prices will go into effect on Friday, March 29. The price cut is currently only available in the US.

Bankruptcy

The price cuts come amid financial problems at the American car brand. The carmaker has posted a loss of more than 700 million euros ($761 million) in 2023. The company reported earlier this month that continuity is at risk and that it is now talking to another major manufacturer about an investment or partnership.

The EV maker halted production for a month and a half two weeks ago.

The company is in the process of appointing dealers. Downsizing has a lot to do with this. By appointing dealers, Fisker is able to disburse funds more quickly. Fisker produced almost ten thousand cars in 2023, half of which were sold and delivered.
