Things are not going well for poor Henrik Fisker either. Once again the company owned by the Danish architect is in danger of collapse. Its establishment is running out of money and has therefore stopped production.
Fisker has only $121 million left in the bank, of which $32 million is not immediately available. That sounds like a lot, but not when you consider there are 182 million in open accounts.
Fisker lays off workers
According to Fisker, new capital is urgently needed, otherwise the company will almost certainly not be able to continue its operations. In February it announced it would cut staff.
By 2023, Magna Steyr will have produced approximately 10,000 units of Bahari, of which 5,000 have been delivered to customers. Since the beginning of the year, 1,300 buyers have received the car.
Software and brake problems
The Ocean is facing software problems and has problems with its braking system, which the model is being investigated by the American RDW, NHTSA.
The possibility of bankruptcy
Fisker initially wanted to sell his models online only, but then he started looking for dealers. That may be too late, as The Wall Street Journal reported last week about the possibility of bankruptcy.

The manufacturer is said to be in talks with a potential partner, reportedly Nissan. In the short term, the company will seek investment of 150 million dollars.
