GTI Summit 2024: Pre-sales for the famous party have begun

GTI’s next big party is approaching. According to Volkswagen, expectations in the community for the big GTI meeting (officially “GTI Fanfest”) are high, because the organizers expect up to 35,000 visitors from all over the world in the cult event from July 26 to 28, 2024.

The meeting is considered an official substitute for GTI meeting at Lake Wörthersee. This happened for the first time 41 years ago. In mid-February 2023, the municipality of Maria Wörth announced that it would no longer hold GTI meetings.

This year, for the first time, the meeting will be held near Volkswagen Stadium in Wolfsburg. Motto: “Icons Come Home”.

Day entry costs 19.76 euros, a three-day VIP ticket is available for 119.76 euros. Admission for children and youth under 18 is free. There’s also a limited-use ticket that includes a two-and-a-half-hour test drive with VW’s performance cars and models at the test site in Ehra near Wolfsburg.

GTI Conference 2024: a comprehensive program is planned

The creators have planned a lot; as well as car shows, platform shows and club meetings, there will be many other amazing activities for GTI and Volkswagen fans and their families.

This includes, for example, the customization of sneakers: A sneaker designer from the community has created special GTI designs for white sneakers. You can have your own kicks cleaned on the site.

The GTI meeting took place on Lake Wörthersee for 40 years, as it is here in 2019. It will continue in Wolfsburg in 2024.

In addition, the new GTI lifestyle collection will be presented, there will also be a GTI parade through the VW factory in Wolfsburg and a car show with fans. GTI models from all eight Golf generations can be used, as can GTI versions Lupo, Polo and Up to be visited. GTX’s sporty variants of its signature models and presentation are meant to give a glimpse of the brand’s fully electric future.

More highlights: Influencer JP Performance shows its Super Golf and “Thunder Bunny” in Wolfsburg. There are also community cars and special Volkswagen show cars. There will be a mobile dynamometer in the community parking lot for GTI and R drivers. A DJ and live music, food trucks and the famous Volkswagen currywurst are also part of the GTI Fanfest.
