He converts his Dodge Viper into a roadster

This Dodge Viper has been completely modified to be converted into an all-terrain vehicle. A non-ecological project…

THE SUV models aren’t the only ones enjoying success at the moment. Although this segment is small, there are owners who are fans of off-road vehicles. This is also why Lamborghini launched the Huracán Sterrato, the off-road version of the Huracán. Porsche also started this innovation with its 911 Dakar.
So why not create a Dodge Viper also off road? This legendary model has had great difficulty adapting to the new demands of the automotive world. It’s not for nothing that the Viper has been out of production for seven years now. In the United States, however, some fans continue to own one. A YouTuber even decided to convert it into an all-terrain vehicle.

A mix between a Dodge Viper and an off-roader

The head of this project is Matt Brown, an engineer who has ten years of experience gained at Tesla, Apple and NASCAR. And although his creation may seem innocent at first glance, it is the result of a titanic work. Everything was done with his own hands (except Dodge Viper, of course).
Matt Brown recorded his project several times on YouTube on his channel @SuperfastMatt. So it’s possible to see him modifying his Dodge Viper from top to bottom. To achieve his creation, he made a whole series of amazing modifications. Exactly, he put suspension lifted of 30.5 cm, all-terrain tires and modified chassis.
The Dodge Viper’s basic engineering is thus fundamentally unspoiled. Instead of installing new equipment, this off-road Viper keeps its stock Mopar V10 engine of the original 8.0 liters.

A very non-ecological project…

The choice of Dodge Viper to carry out this project may seem surprising. The production of this famous American car was completely stopped in 2017 by its manufacturer because of growing controversy near this car. Indeed, Snake is still known for his strength. However, it is also one of the most polluting examples available.
So there is no guarantee that this Dodge Viper location will convince many people. And Matt Brown will probably have a hard time selling it later. In one of his videos, the YouTuber admitted not knowing how he could reuse his creation. It would still be possible to see it going in original off-road racing. But we must admit that he did not start the ecological project of this time …
