It has long been known that Mini is working on a new car called the Aceman. However, it was not yet known what the car looked like. Thanks to China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, we already have a picture of the new model.

The leaked images of the Mini Aceman therefore come from China. The car may come to Europe in a slightly modified form. However, it gives a very good idea of what we can expect.

The new Mini Aceman

We also already know something about the specifications of the Chinese Mini Aceman. There will be a variant with a 135 kW (184 hp) electric motor and a 40 kWh battery pack. We know this powertrain from the Mini Cooper E. The car has a range between 293 and 305 km according to the measurement method of WLTP.

In addition, there is a Mini Aceman S with a 160 kW (218) hp engine. This has a large battery pack of 54.2 kWh. You can also find this in Cooper, SE. According to the WLTP measuring method, the model reaches a distance between 377 and 402 kilometers. It is very likely that these electric trains will also come to our country.

The car is smaller than the outgoing Countryman model, but it’s a big Mini nonetheless. So it’s placed between the Cooper and the new big Citizen. It is strange that China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology lists two heights: 4.076 meters and 4.094 meters. What? Can the Mini Aceman S be a little longer because of other large works? A wheelbase of more than 2.6 meters is the same for both cars.
