Kia K9 luxury sedan now looks sharper

(Motorsport-Total.com/Motor1) – Kia introduced the second-generation K900 at the 2018 New York Auto Show, but the full-size sedan was short-lived in the United States, where it was discontinued three years later. However, the main car of the company continues to be sold in other markets, including South Korea, where the car is known as the K9.

Kia K9 Facelift (2024)

Grow

After a major facelift in 2021, the luxury sedan is now receiving further improvements. This time, however, the changes are not so drastic. Kia only changes the grille, where horizontal slats replace the old V-shaped elements.

Of 2025 K9 it also gets a new 19-inch wheel design and a new Pebble Gray body color. Inside, the stylish interior is now available in new colors such as Martian Brown or Misty Gray.

The new “After Blowing” technology has a function to dry the condensation that forms when the air conditioner is used to avoid unpleasant odors. After the engine is turned off for half an hour, “After Blowing” is automatically activated for 10 minutes to dry the ventilation ducts and prevent mold formation.

The battery sensor ensures that the system does not turn on when the vehicle’s battery is almost empty. In addition, the function remains off when the outside temperature is low and when the air conditioner has not been used for a long time.

Other new features on the 2025 Kia K9 include a reclining passenger seat, front and rear USB-C ports, and even a fire extinguisher. The standard equipment is now larger than before, while higher trim levels also offer extras that were previously offered as optional extras.
