LEGO is launching a replica of the Land Rover Defender for the car’s 75th anniversary.

On the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the famous Land Rover Defender, LEGO has decided to delight all car (and construction game) lovers by creating a brick model, to build and customize to express the adventurer in us.

The Danish toy company was inspired by the Land Rover Defender 90 model introduced in 1983 to create a new 2-in-1 set. Consisting of 2336 pieces, the 32 cm long and 16 cm wide set was designed with the smallest details as evidenced. and many accessories to be added to the car when it is finished.

LEGO has therefore chosen a copy of the green color which is one of the most emblematic, while offering budding builders two engine options, either a 5-cylinder turbo diesel or a V8. This allows in particular to change the comfort and pass it from the civilian version to the event version.

For this, the set provides a snorkel, a bull bar with a working winch, a roof rack, spare wheels under the hood but also a tool box, jack, jerry cans, pickaxe, fire extinguisher and much more Again. And since LEGO has thought of everything, the 4×4 also has active steering and independent suspension.

So for the most impatient, a copy of the British carmaker’s car will be available from April 4 on official lego website at a price of €239.99.

LEGO’s collaboration is consistent but not identical, showing its ability to be a real chameleon that can please construction enthusiasts with a variety of influences from 7th art, to popular graphics and cars.
