Infiniti QX Monograph Concept: A seriously stylish SUV

The Infiniti QX Monograph Concept stands out with its new famous grille and oblique vertical slats, which support the strip of daylight, integrated under the hood in the entire width of the bow. The headlights are located at a low level, on either side of the front bumper, creating a signature double-decker headlight. We also get this front side new brand logo3D processing and illumination.

The sides are very refined, with pull-out door handles as well as sculpted wheel arches, not to mention the air intakes on the front fenders, located below the hood line. At the back, we find an attractive trunk that is marked by a wide strip that carries the taillights, across the entire width of the car. The alloy wheels are large, and their turbine style is inspired, according to Infiniti, by a wind turbine.

The light signature of the future

The light signature, front and back, are enriched with an animation sequence when opening or closing the car, to give a lateral effect and suggest the idea of movement. When approaching, the side steps also provide a welcoming light around the car.

The QX Monograph also has a panoramic glass roof, which is decorated with a large “kimono fold” design. The whole thing is covered in a special color called “Akane”, inspired by the sunset, and is made up of six layers for added depth.

Even if the Japanese manufacturer has not announced a sales date for a possible production version of this QX Monograph Concept, it is a safe bet that the next generation ofInfiniti QX80 enters the market by 2025.
